Introducción: Christian Albert Theodor Billroth (1829-1894), fue un notorio profesor y cirujano del siglo XIX, considerado el fundador de la cirugía abdominal moderna y con una vida sobresaliente como científico y fervoroso amante de la música.
Objetivo: Destacar las cualidades del profesor alemán Christian Albert Theodor Billroth.
Métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional, retrospectivo, analítico y búsqueda bibliográfica, de la información más fidedigna acerca de las cualidades del profesor Billroth, durante un periodo de búsqueda que comprendió de enero 2025 hasta agosto 2025.
Desarrollo: Se ofrecen elementos, en los que se enfatizan las virtudes de Theodor Billroth en diferentes esferas de su práctica profesional y de su vocación a la música.
Conclusiones: El profesor Theodor Billroth, ser humano muy especial, logró desarrollar todos los talentos que poseía, pese a no haber sido un brillante estudiante, pero sí un excelente cirujano, un devoto profesor, un ingenioso científico y un apasionado músico.
